RECRUITMENT

TOGETHER WE CAN CREATE BRIGHTER FUTURES

Our Community Partnerships Manager, Tracy Anderson, is a vital part of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County. Since joining us in September 2022, Tracy has significantly broadened our volunteer recruitment efforts, bringing energy and dedication to every aspect of her role. With her exceptional communication and people skills, she actively connects with supporters and potential volunteers at events all around Madison.

Under Tracy’s leadership, we’re excited to host a series of upcoming recruitment events. Bring friends along and join us to learn more about our mission and how you can make a difference as a mentor!

We believe that every child deserves a mentor who can guide and inspire them to reach their full potential. You can make a difference by helping us in our volunteer recruitment efforts. Here's how you can get involved:

SPREAD THE WORD:

Tell your friends, family, and colleagues about the rewarding experience of being a mentor! Share our website and social media posts to help us reach a wider audience. The more people who know about our cause, the more children we can reach!

ORGANIZE A RECRUITMENT EVENT:

Consider working with us to organize a gathering or informational session where prospective volunteers can learn about Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County. Setting up a recruitment event includes coordinating dates with our Community Partnerships Manager, and helping promote the event.

DISTRIBUTE MATERIALS:

If you would like to distribute recruitment materials in the community, we can provide you with brochures, posters, and other resources. These materials can be placed in schools, community centers, and local businesses to attract potential mentors.

FEATURE BBBS IN YOUR NEWSLETTER:

Please consider featuring BBBS in your weekly or monthly newsletter. By including BBBS in your staff communications, you’re helping us recruit more Bigs and serve more Littles. You can grow our reach and share our mission!

For more information about any of these opportunities, or if you're interested in becoming a volunteer mentor, contact Tracy Anderson, Community Partnerships Manager, at tanderson@bbbsmadison.org or 608-676-0236
